Job Summary
Senior Integration Technician responsible for assembling, installing, and testing flight hardware, and collaborating with production, integration engineers, and quality teams to develop and document job operations. Requires 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field, ability to operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools, familiarity with avionics and bonding operations, and strong communication skills. Role focuses on integrating components and systems of flight hardware for Terran R in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with emphasis on assembly, install, and testing of flight hardware and documentation of operations. 1st shift schedule (5:00 AM–3:30 PM PT) on a 50-hour workweek with occasional overtime; located in Long Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations
- Possess a wide range of technical skills including but not limited to fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production
- Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices
- Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
