Senior Integration Engineer (SAP S/4 & BTP)

Job Summary
Senior Integration Engineer responsible for implementing technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Satellite Applications/Systems to ensure data consistency and interoperability. Design, configure, and customize SAP BTP integration services, APIs, and connectors using the SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Transport Management, CloudALM). Analyze integration requirements, develop strategies, and guide project teams; monitor and troubleshoot to maintain system stability. Stay current with SAP BTP features, including embedded AI capabilities, leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance delivery quality. Manage collaboration with external IT Operations suppliers and SAP within the Rise with SAP framework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in technical SAP integration, with a focus on SAP BTP and S/4HANA
- Solid knowledge of SAP BTP services including SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, Cloud Transport Management, Mobile Services, and CloudALM, with hands-on configuration experience
- Strong technical skills and/or certification in SAP BTP, including API Management and event-driven architecture
- Experience with integration methodologies (ETL, SOA, microservices); DevOps/Agile experience is a plus
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) as part of daily workflow
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience in international or cross-cultural teams is highly desirable
- Fluent in English (required); Portuguese is an additional advantage
