Senior Integration Engineer (Python)

Job Summary
Design and implement end-to-end integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems, defining API contracts, data mappings, and transformation logic. Build resilient integrations with idempotency, retries, ordering, and backfill capabilities while managing REST APIs, Webhooks, and API versioning. Ensure data quality and consistency using SQL and PostgreSQL, then implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability for all solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to deliver scalable integration solutions, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity. This role requires 5+ years of experience, strong Python and PostgreSQL skills, and fluent English, located in Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, or Bolivia.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Integration Engineer
- Strong experience with Python
- Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs and Webhooks
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills
- Experience with event-driven architectures and batch processing
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging best practices
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
- Advanced/Fluent English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building developer platforms or public APIs
- Experience integrating CRM, RMS, or PMS platforms
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), financial reconciliation, or accounting systems
- Experience in the PropTech, Multifamily, or Property Management industry
- Experience working with distributed systems and high-availability architectures
