Senior Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Design and develop MuleSoft-based systems and data integrations using the Anypoint Platform; design and develop high-quality APIs and integrations; develop unit tests and provide code coverage; create high-level design documents for MuleSoft functionality; support and optimize existing integration architecture to improve performance; solve complex issues and promote best practices; actively engage in DevOps and Agile practices; participate in and lead code reviews; collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions; stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience
- MuleSoft 4 Developer Certification
- 7+ years of progressive Software Engineering experience
- Hands-on development experience with middleware and integration technologies
- Experience with Java or Python
- 3+ years of MuleSoft development
- Experience with JMS, Amazon SQS, Azure ServiceBus
- API-Led connectivity, Publish-Subscribe, Batch processing
- Experience building/consuming SOAP and REST web services
- Experience in Agile environments; knowledge of CI/CD (GitLab or Azure DevOps) and DevOps processes
- Knowledge of MuleSoft connectors (Salesforce, HTTP, DB, SOAP, FTP etc.)
- Knowledge of security protocols (SSL, Basic Auth, SAML, OAuth2) and API gateway
- Experience with CloudHub 2.0
- Mule Batch processing, exception handling and logging frameworks
- Ability to work in geographically distributed teams
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
