Senior Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Build and extend reusable Python system wrappers for applications across the Gen II technology estate, leveraging AI tooling for scaffolding Function Apps, Logic Apps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code. Design Azure integration adapters using Function Apps and Logic Apps Standard, configuring API Management policies and Service Bus messaging patterns with AI-assisted validation. Drive CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, contributing to the factory's pattern library for standardized error handling and logging. Take integration workstreams from requirement to production with minimal oversight, collaborating with data engineers to ensure clean data flows into Snowflake. Report to the Associate Director of Data Engineering, owning end-to-end delivery while raising blockers early.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on integration engineering experience
- Deep practical experience with Azure Function Apps
- Deep practical experience with Logic Apps Standard
- Deep practical experience with Service Bus
- Deep practical experience with API Management
- Strong Python development
- Demonstrable experience building or contributing to an integration factory
- Active use of AI-assisted development in integration delivery
- Ability to own workstreams independently and drive delivery without close management
- Experience writing system wrapper libraries
- Snowflake experience
- Exposure to fund administration or broader financial services environments
- Strong communication skills
- This role is based in our Southampton office
