Senior Integration and Testing Production Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct system integration, final system testing, acceptance testing, and diagnostic troubleshooting on stand-alone electronic and RF-based equipment. Serve as a technical focal point for assigned product lines, providing regular updates to management on manufacturing status, activity progress, technical issues, root cause analysis, and recovery actions while coordinating task allocation with team members. Perform testing across multiple levels of electronic assemblies, including digital, analog, RF, box, and system-level equipment, interpreting schematics and diagrams to ensure conformance with final product specifications. Calibrate and align RF and digital circuits, diagnose and isolate malfunctions down to the component level, and perform repairs as instructed. Collect and document required data, perform final product verification, and ensure all associated documentation is accurate prior to acceptance. Work onsite at a Thales facility on a standard 5-day/40-hour workweek or 9/80 Alternate Work Schedule, with the ability to travel domestically less than 5% annually.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Person as defined in applicable law
- Must be authorized or eligible for authorization to access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 5–8+ years of related experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience integrating and testing Navigation Aid products and systems or similar aviation-related electronic systems
- Strong technical background with the ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Analytical and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience providing on-the-job training, technical guidance, and support to peers and colleagues
- Self-motivated and solutions-oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Sound judgment
- Ability to patiently drive complex issues through resolution
- Proven ability to track, monitor, and report status against established schedules
- Proficiency using PCs, Microsoft Windows applications, and other related software

- Ability to work within specialized environments, including manufacturing/production areas, R&D laboratories, and warehouse settings
- Ability to travel domestically on occasion, anticipated to be less than 5% annually
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL), Amateur Extra Class (Ham Radio) license, or prior military experience
- Experience with Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems
- Ability to successfully complete a post-offer background check
