Senior Insurance Product Manager

Job Summary
Own the development, governance, and continuous improvement of Cover Genius's embedded insurance product portfolio across the ANZ market. Lead end-to-end product design, underwriter sourcing, and compliance management from policy wording reviews to performance reporting and regulatory monitoring. Collaborate with ANZ partnerships, underwriters, legal, compliance, and global product teams to keep the product suite competitive, compliant, and commercially sound. Drive new embedded insurance products across travel, life, and discretionary risk lines; manage portfolio performance, pricing submissions, and ongoing underwriter relationships; ensure compliance with DDO and related regulations; produce regular portfolio insights to improve GWP growth and net margin; develop product proposals and financial models for partner pitches; monitor regulatory developments and adapt product positioning.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the Australian insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (postgraduate desirable)
- Expertise in Australian insurance product governance (DDO, RG 146)
- Experience in policy wordings, TMDs, and PDSs
- Experience managing underwriter relationships and pricing negotiations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
