Job Summary
Take general daily job direction and self-execute without direct oversight. Perform maintenance and repair of AC and DC drives, and calibrate servo hydraulic controllers, analog, and digital instruments. Tune electrical and hydraulic control loops while maintaining calibration data in PLM and IPF systems. Repair wiring harnesses, build cables, and set up mechanical fixturing for force calibrations. Document actions and communicate irregularities to maintain team continuity. Requires 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or automotive testing, plus the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot board-level equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in the mechanical, electrical or automotive testing field
- Basic mechanical skills for working with calibration mechanical set ups
- Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment and systems at board level
- Computer Literacy / Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
- Analytical abilities to solve complex multi failure mode equipment issues
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- LabVIEW Software Programming knowledge a plus
