Job Summary
Deliver TC3 training across four tiers, instruct 68W Combat Medic and CLS sustainment courses, and manage mixed populations in classroom, laboratory, and field environments. Operate high-fidelity simulation systems, apply moulage techniques, and execute realistic scenario-based training while maintaining proper instructor-to-student ratios. Serve as the primary site-level interface with military leaders, Government representatives, and contractor personnel to coordinate operations, resolve administrative issues, and ensure compliance with contractual performance standards. Mentor Instructor/Operators, conduct peer observations, and oversee equipment maintenance and inventory management. Full-time Monday through Friday with potential overtime for surge operations; located in Bluffdale, Utah, with occasional local and cross-site travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet ONE of the following: Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), Advanced Leader Course (ALC) Graduate
- Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above
- Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO)
- Current Emergency Medical Technician with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and demonstrated supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site-level coordination experience
- Current Paramedic with a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and proof of supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site-level coordination experience
- Current Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician or Nationally Registered Paramedic, as applicable to position assignment
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS), if required by assigned instructional duties or medical scope of practice
- Emergency Medical Technician candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and must be able to illustrate prior supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site-level coordination experience
- Paramedic candidates must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the medical scope of practice and must be able to illustrate prior supervisory, leadership, mentoring, or site-level coordination experience
- Must maintain current medical certifications
- Must maintain all certifications current throughout the contract — no lapsed credentials
- Complete annual TC 8-800 recertification (all tables)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to illustrate prior supervisory or site-level leadership experience in a medical, military, emergency services, or training environment
- Ability to illustrate prior supervisory experience in a medical, military, emergency services, instructional, or operational environment
- Experience mentoring, coaching, supervising, or leading training or instructional staff
- Experience reviewing documents, maintaining electronic files, and managing spreadsheets, tracking logs, suspense actions, or similar records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and standard office equipment
- Strong organizational, data-entry, written communication, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple records and deadlines and communicate professionally with military, civilian, medical, recruiting, contractor, senior military, and senior executive personnel
- Ability to learn Government information systems and Army applicant-processing procedures
- Ability to resolve administrative, instructional, scheduling, and minor performance issues
- Ability to oversee adherence to training standards, security protocols, classroom requirements, safety procedures, and contractual performance standards
- Ability to mentor Instructor/Operators and support instructor development, peer observations, quality control activities, and cross-site standardization
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout training environments for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Ability to lift and carry medical training equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, crouch, and work at ground level during field training exercises
- Ability to work in outdoor field environments in varying weather conditions
- Ability to apply moulage and operate patient simulators requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to regularly talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Overtime, weekend, and extended hours may be required during surge operations per Government direction
- Specific site assignment determined at hire
- OCONUS positions require SOFA documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in MSTC operations, high-fidelity medical simulation, TC3 instruction, 68W sustainment training, moulage, equipment maintenance, training documentation, instructor development, and coordination with senior military or executive leaders is strongly preferred
- Candidate should be capable of leading and mentoring Instructor/Operators, instructing mixed-experience military populations in classroom, laboratory, and field environments, and maintaining compliance with medical proponent standards, contract requirements, quality control requirements, and certification obligations
