Job Summary
Design and develop complex instructional materials incorporating blended, eLearning, and microlearning methods. Facilitate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and learning labs for diverse audiences. Assist the Training Program Manager with projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational learning goals. Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys and performance metrics to recommend improvements. Mentor and coach other trainers while managing end-to-end training programs including needs assessment and stakeholder coordination. Requires a hybrid role combining instructional design and facilitation, with experience in Articulate tools and ADDIE or SAM models.
Required Qualifications
- Training experience
- Instructional Designer/Learning Specialist hybrid capability (ability to do both ID work and deliver training)
- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and/or progressively responsible work experience in related area
- Demonstrated expertise with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning)
- Experience applying learning evaluation methods (e.g., surveys, assessments, performance metrics) to measure training effectiveness and make recommendations
- Strong portfolio of learning materials created using eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar)
- Advanced facilitation and presentation skills, with ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills to assess learner needs, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) administration and reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end training programs, including needs assessment, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, communication, and post-training evaluation
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
