Job Summary
Design creative, innovative, and scalable programs for all levels using adult learning theories and methodologies. Develop course materials leveraging video, audio, and interactivity to promote self-study and performance support. Conduct needs analysis with stakeholders to define instructional objectives and lead teams in developing new learning content. Evaluate solutions for quality, business impact, and scalability while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Facilitate engaging instructor-led experiences and measure training impact through formal and informal metrics. Work hybrid, three days a week in the Walnut Creek, CA office, with a compensation range of $110,387 to $137,983.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development or business
- 5+ years of experience as an instructional designer or Learning & Development Program manager
- demonstrated proficiency in designing, building and deploying instructor and e-learning modules
- 5+ years facilitating different corporate groups in workshop and/or training experiences
- deep understanding of learning technologies including eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems
- Experience with multimedia and web design technologies including video conferencing/webinar technologies
- Advanced to intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, Photo-editing software, MS PowerPoint, Graphic Design software, Photoshop, Illustrator, Presentation applications
- Advanced to intermediate experience with online, eLearning, and Rapid Development Software such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals with individuals, small groups and in front of large audiences at all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with mobile design guidelines for iOS and Android
- Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and user pain points, and translate them to practical design solutions
- Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce multiple work products under tight timeline
- 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office
