Job Summary
As a Senior Inspector at EXP, you will oversee contractor compliance with contractual requirements, document work performed, and assist in preparing reports related to MTO and municipal projects. You will be required to have experience with MTO projects, possess registration with OACETT, and demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills. The role also demands knowledge of construction standards and regulations, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of senior inspection experience
- Registration with OACETT as a C.E.T., C.Tech., rcsi or rcca
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations (environmental, health and safety)
- Knowledge of MTO CAIS Manual and CMS
- Thorough understanding of design standards, Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications/Standard drawings (OPSS/OPSD’s), and methods and materials associated with municipal/highway construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to construction site
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
