Senior Inspector

Conduct daily field inspections of highway construction sites in Suffolk County to monitor conformance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Verify construction activities against applicable codes while reviewing drawings, interpreting contract documents, and overseeing materials testing. Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve punch lists, track quality assurance progress, and report field issues to the project manager. Document inspection findings through written reports, photographs, and daily records, then participate in project meetings and final close-out activities. Ensure all work meets required quality and safety regulations while maintaining accurate project files.
