Senior Inspection Engineers - EPC Phase

Job Summary
Senior Inspection Engineer for EPC-phase projects who develops and reviews engineering documentation, reviews vendor documentation (ITPs, FAT/SAT), supervises service providers, ensures compliance with API/ASME/ASTM and project procedures, liaises with maintenance to reflect contractual setups in CMMS, participates in RBI assessments, and coordinates with Engineering, Commissioning, Fabrication and Maintenance to ensure readiness, with a strong background in RBI, API certifications, and international codes. The role requires extensive EPC and operational experience, capability to manage inspections across procurement, construction, and commissioning, and proficiency with CMMS/IDMS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years combined EPC + Operational experience for Inspection Engineers
- Minimum 10 years combined EPC + Operational experience for Senior Inspection Engineers
- Minimum 2 API core certifications (API 510 / API 570 / API 653)
- API 580 qualified or minimum 5 years proven RBI experience
- Nice to have: API 571, CSWIP/AWS certifications
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards, RBI methodology, damage mechanisms, materials, baseline inspections, in-service inspections
- Knowledge of CMMS (SAP, Maximo, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of IDMS systems (Antea, Nexus, APM Meridium, or equivalent)
- Capable of developing/reviewing engineering documentation and reviewing vendor documentation
- Experience supervising other service providers
- Ability to ensure compliance with standards, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Budget and schedule management
- Interdepartmental coordination (Engineering, Commissioning, Fabrication, Maintenance)
