Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations, quality, and service for inpatient case management while maintaining fiscal accountability for departmental activities. Lead complex cases by providing case management services, assisting with hiring and personnel evaluations, and participating in assigned team functions. Ensure compliance with required certifications such as ACM, CCM, or CCCTM within one year of eligibility. This role supports the hospital's mission to improve health every day within a 224-bed acute care facility specializing in stroke, heart, and vascular care.
Required Qualifications
- RN-Bachelor's Degree OR RN-Master's Degree OR RN-Doctorate Degree
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM, CMAC or CMGT-BC) certification required within one year of eligibility
- 3 years of nursing experience (required)
- First (Days) Work Shift
- 40 hours/week
- Mon-Fri
- Hours: -8:00 4:30 PM
- on-call commitments to include holidays and weekends
- Hospitals only practice setting
