Job Summary
Senior Innovation Consultant in Bogotá leads strategic consulting projects and open-innovation programs within the Delivery Excellence unit, bridging corporate partners, startups, and investors to shape the future of AgrifoodTech. Responsibilities include managing innovation projects and developing business cases, applying advanced innovation methodologies, optimizing operations, advising clients, maintaining relationships to drive revenue, and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality project delivery. The role requires strong leadership in strategy development, client engagement, and knowledge of the food industry and emerging AgrifoodTech technologies, with fluency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in innovation consulting or strategy development preferably within the food industry or AgrifoodTech
- University degree or specialized technical training/certification
- Knowledge of industry-leading methodologies for innovation strategy, open innovation programs, and business case development
- Experience leading and managing innovation or strategy consulting projects, including work planning, client engagement, and project execution
- Strong ability to build, maintain, and expand relationships with corporate clients, innovation teams, and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration platforms; industry software for innovation management is a plus
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Spanish required (Bogotá-based)
- Italian is considered a significant plus
- Leadership & mentoring experience within consulting teams
- Deep understanding of the food industry, innovation trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in AgrifoodTech
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
