Job Summary
Conduct process engineering for industrial clients by developing feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering concepts, and technical specifications for chemical production plants. Design apparatus including columns, reactors, and heat exchangers while creating material and energy balances. Execute safety analyses such as HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA, and provide technical support for plant operations and troubleshooting. Coordinate with internal departments, external partners, and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulations like ATEX and the Pressure Equipment Directive. Requires 10+ years in chemical process industry, project-based travel, and proficiency in simulation software. Located in Leverkusen.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Verfahrenstechnik, Chemieingenieurwesen oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der chemischen Prozessindustrie
- Fundierte Kenntnisse chemischer Prozesse
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Anlagen‐ und Projektengineering
- Bereitschaft zur projektbezogenen bundesweiten Reisetätigkeit
- Erfahrung mit verfahrenstechnischer Simulationssoftware
- Sicherer Umgang mit technischen Regelwerken und internationalen Standards
- Strukturierte, analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikations‐ und Teamfähigkeit
- Sehr gute Deutsch‐ und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
