Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer (O&M) Platforms responsible for managing and modernizing enterprise Windows environments, focusing on Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, PKI, MECM, SCOM, and STIG remediation. Key duties include GPO cleanup and governance with Git-backed version control, implementing Markdown-based deployment and remediation guides, and maintaining documentation standards (EIPs/EDPs) for changes. Roles involve CI/CD with GitLab, automation through PowerShell (and Python/Bash), cross-platform coordination with Red Hat Linux, vulnerability remediation, and mentorship of junior administrators. Role requires TS/SCI clearance and willingness to work OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany; collaboration with cybersecurity, networking, architecture, and project management teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient Windows platforms and automation systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or 7 years of relatable experience with qualification under TESA
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Windows systems administration with deep experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and PKI/Certificate Services in large-scale, multi-site environments
- Experience with Git/GitLab for version-controlled documentation, merge-request-based change workflows, and CI/CD pipeline fundamentals
- Moderate to strong scripting skills in PowerShell; familiarity with Python or Bash for cross-platform automation
- Baseline familiarity with Enterprise Linux (Red Hat)
- Experience operating in DISA STIG-hardened environments with practical knowledge of vulnerability remediation and ACAS scan workflows
- Mentorship experience and ability to onboard junior administrators
- Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- IAT Level III certification (CompTIA CASP+/SecurityX, CISSP or equivalent DoD 8570/8140)
- Ability to work OCONUS at a U.S. military installation in Stuttgart, Germany
