Senior Infrastructure Systems Engineer - Cloud/Linux

Job Summary
Proactively maintain, monitor, and support the infrastructure environment across complex Azure and AWS cloud platforms, deploying applications and systems in both cloud and on-premise settings. Lead low-level architecture design, troubleshoot service-impacting events, and implement approved solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. Conduct root cause analysis with IT support teams, prepare regular status reviews, and optimize system performance through data-driven process improvements. Provide 24/7 support via a rotating on-call schedule while mentoring fellow engineers and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all system builds and changes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in providing systems support for complex on-premise and Cloud environments
- Experience leading in the engineering of enterprise-wide Linux server environments
- Experience with enterprise server and datacenter technologies
- Experience with recovery methodologies and technologies supporting an enterprise-wide environment
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, data networks, virtualization, IT security, web servers and storage technologies
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, effectively handling a variety of responsibilities
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- AWS and/or Azure Cloud certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in engineering with enterprise AWS and/or Azure Cloud is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred
