Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer focused on distributed testing infrastructure and quality platform for WEKA's NeuralMesh data platform. Design and implement core components of a distributed testing framework, build automated systems to validate functionality, performance, and resilience at scale, and collaborate with infrastructure, storage, and platform teams to embed quality into the development lifecycle. Strong distributed-systems background with hands-on coding in Go, C++, Rust, or Python; experience shaping tooling and test coverage; interest in AI-assisted testing and chaos engineering to improve reliability and correctness at scale. This role emphasizes building tools that improve quality, stability, and confidence across large-scale distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building or working on large-scale distributed systems (storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, or backend platforms)
- Strong understanding of concurrency and system correctness in production systems
- Hands-on programming in Go, C++, Rust, or Python
- Experience building test frameworks or internal platforms is a strong advantage
- Curiosity in modern testing, automation, and system validation (including AI-assisted techniques)
