Job Summary
Lead commercial and cost management for major aviation infrastructure projects, acting on behalf of the Contracting Entity to ensure contractual compliance and financial certainty. Monitor compliance with cost control processes, develop programme-wide strategies, and manage variations, change control, and monthly cashflow forecasting. Review and approve cost reports, lead final account negotiations, and support contractor claims resolution while mentoring Intermediate Quantity Surveyors. Establish escalation pathways for commercial matters and build relationships with contractors and stakeholders to drive value-for-money outcomes. Work three days on-site in Dublin with two days remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or subcontractor role
- Experience delivering projects within the aviation sector or other similarly constrained or operationally complex environments
- Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
- Professionally Qualified – On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI
- Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
