Job Summary
Develop and configure common solutions to complex problems for U.S. Navy surface ships, test and troubleshoot computing hardware issues in a lab or customer site, and create documentation to support a rigorous engineering process. Collaborate with an agile team daily to problem solve and deliver robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure. Apply systems engineering concepts, read engineering drawings and wiring schematics, and develop schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer. This role requires a Department of Defense Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Based in Pittsfield, MA with a hybrid or fully on-site option, the position offers a flexible schedule including every other Friday off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schematics, parts lists or rack layouts
- Troubleshooting computing hardware issues in a lab or customer site
- Developing schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer
