Job Summary
Provide expert technical pre-sales support for servers, storage, backup, and cloud solutions. Engage early with customers to understand requirements and propose complete and cost-effective solutions. Prepare solution writeups, bill of materials, and ensure technical completeness. Conduct technical presentations, identify project risks, and maintain technical capability. Must have strong experience with various technologies and certifications related to systems, storage, and cloud.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of Systems, Storage, and cloud experience with products including Pure Storage, HPE, IBM, Dell, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, Cisco UCS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience with various Operating Systems and virtualized platforms
- Good knowledge of backup and archival solutions
- Good knowledge in virtualization, containers and cloud technology
- Customer service oriented and a good team player
Desired Qualifications
- Product and technology certifications such as MCSE/MCITP
- Server (Dell, HPE, IBM, Cisco UCS) certifications
- Storage (Dell, Hitachi Vantara, HPE, Pure Storage) certifications
- Backup (Cohesity DataProtect, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Dell Networker/Avamar/PowerProtect, Dell Data Domain, Acronis) certifications
