Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and maintaining the DoD enterprise data and analytics platform’s network, cloud, hardware, and OS infrastructure; testing and integrating COTS/GOTS/FOSS components; managing data-pipeline resources, access controls, and capacity; developing monitoring tools and performance metrics; ensuring system stability, availability, and scalability; producing System Engineering Plans; documenting systems engineering and cybersecurity artifacts; supporting RMF compliance, STIGs, APIs, and architectural artifacts; enabling production-ready AI/ML model access; contributing to enterprise architecture and ECB processes; collaborating with government partners, engineers, and industry teams to deliver scalable, mission-aligned capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline and 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience
- Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate System Administrator roles (e.g., Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) or equivalency as per DoD 8140
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related field
- Experience with network, cloud, hardware, and operating system infrastructure
- Experience with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS components
- Experience with performance metrics, instrumentation, and monitoring tools
- Experience with systems engineering and cybersecurity artifacts
- Experience supporting RMF compliance, STIG implementation, and cybersecurity monitoring
- Experience with System Requirements management
- Experience with enterprise system architecture activities
- Experience with APIs and technical standards
- Experience with site reliability engineering
- Experience with cybersecurity artifacts
- Experience with data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructures
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure architectures
- Advanced cloud or infrastructure certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or equivalent)
- Experience with SLAs and KPIs
