Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, and virtualization for the dealer services division. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues while managing datacenter, cloud, and financial database environments. Provide end-user support for hardware and software, monitor SugarCRM and Service Now ticketing systems, and handle onboarding/offboarding activities. Participate in on-call rotations for off-hours work and perform system patching, backups, and environment changes. Manage phone systems and SMTP gateways, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering and administration
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- VMWARE Vcenter
- Windows Server
- Linux (various)
- Load balancing
- Firewalls – Rules, Policies, VPN, Monitoring, etc.
- DNS management
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 network configurations and troubleshooting
- Dell, Lenovo and HP hardware
- PC's, Laptops and Servers
- Application layer troubleshooting
- SSL Certificate deployment across all environments, including network gear and linux based load balancers
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies
- Participate in on call, off hours scheduled and unscheduled work
