Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Engineer for an MSP/Managed Services team who operates as a true escalation point and owns complex multi-client environments across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud. Design and support on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments; lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and upgrades; troubleshoot cross-domain issues end-to-end; drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions; partner with clients during high-impact situations; mentor engineers and elevate technical standards across the team; strong Microsoft infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing) experience; 7+ years in the field; MSP or multi-client experience strongly preferred; located in Florida with Fort Myers offices; benefits include comprehensive insurance options, 401(k), flexible PTO, and other perks.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in infrastructure engineering or enterprise IT
- Strong experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure/AWS)
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO, etc.)
- Solid experience with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Working knowledge of networking (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing)
- Proven ability to solve complex, multi-system issues independently
- Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment strongly preferred
