Job Summary
Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across layers 1–7. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN, WAN, wireless, security, load balancing) in complex environments. Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices, including hardware, software, and connectivity. Own network incidents and projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, and deliverables. Configure monitoring, alerting, and automated escalations following best practices. Participate in on-call rotations and ensure timely issue resolution. Contribute to standards, documentation, change management, and mentoring within the team. Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, security policy, and A10 load balancing required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent education/certifications)
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following: Cisco switches/routers, A10 load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls (incl. L7 DPI), and Imperva WAF
- Experience with network design and planning for enterprise environments
- Advanced troubleshooting/root‐cause analysis, including data capture and analysis across LAN/WAN/Wi‐Fi/security/load‐balancing
- Capacity planning experience (bandwidth analysis, facilities, and system interdependencies)
Desired Qualifications
- Vendor certifications, Cisco (CCNP, CCDP, or higher)
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Hands on experience with A10 Thunder Series and/or F5 Load Balancers and WAFs
- Hands experience with VPN technologies (IPSEC, GRE, Route-based and DMVPN)
- Hands on experience with routing, switching, and security
- Hands on experience with SDWAN and Wireless Technologies
