Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer at Fever responsible for designing, deploying, and operating secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments; drive the hybrid cloud strategy; manage AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions); implement secure connectivity (Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering); manage Linux/Windows, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), and NetApp storage; implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation); develop automation (Python/Bash/PowerShell); build CI/CD pipelines; mentor engineers; collaborate with Security and Platform teams; produce bilingual (English/French) documentation; ensure security, governance, and compliance; participate in architectural reviews and long-term infra strategy; thrive in distributed environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles
- 3+ years of production experience working with AWS environments
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience in a senior-level position, leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
- Professional working proficiency in English (C1)
- Professional working proficiency in French (C1)
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation in both languages
- Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Strong Windows Server administration experience
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Experience managing NetApp environments (ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapCenter)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
- Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk)
- Security and compliance focus (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Hybrid cloud connectivity design (Direct Connect, VPN, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering)
- Experience supporting cloud migration and workload modernization
- Active directory and IAM/SSO integration
- Strong networking fundamentals and storage (SAN/NAS/iSCSI/NFS)
- Ability to mentor and drive architectural decisions
- Ability to produce technical documentation in English and French
