Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to design and operate the Linux-based infrastructure powering large-scale modeling, simulation, and data-analysis workflows. The role includes designing, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for modeling frameworks and tooling; developing and maintaining automation for build systems, toolchains, packaging, and dependency management; enabling scalable and reproducible execution of compute-intensive workloads; managing artifact storage and versioning; and improving pipeline performance, reliability, and observability. The role requires collaboration with architects, modeling engineers, and software developers to improve developer productivity and system scalability, and owning end-to-end infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years experience or Master's Degree with 3+ years experience or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, software engineering, and build/release
- 3+ years of Linux development experience
- 2+ years of CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
- 2+ years of experience with build systems (GNU Make, CMake, Bazel, Ninja)
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience and advanced STEM degree
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with large-scale compute environments/HPC/distributed workloads
- Experience with job scheduling systems (Slurm or similar)
- Experience with storage systems or distributed filesystems (NFS or similar)
- Familiarity with performance tuning and resource optimization
- Experience supporting data analysis, modeling or simulation workflows
- Familiarity with EDA tools or semiconductor workflows
