Job Summary
Senior Infosec Engineer with deep Linux security expertise to design, implement, and maintain system hardening across diverse Linux distributions; develop and automate security tooling; perform vulnerability management, penetration testing across web/mobile/infrastructure; manage ELK-based security analytics dashboards; and participate in on-call incident response. The role emphasizes hands-on security across Linux environments, network and application security (including Nginx/WAF considerations), scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Rust), and collaboration with engineering to remediate findings. Certifications such as OSCP, RHCE, CCNP, or CISSP are recognized, and relocation benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of deep hands-on experience in Linux security (administration, hardening, log analysis)
- Strong working knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation (Python or Bash); Rust or Go is a big advantage
- Hands-on experience with git
- OWASP Top 10 expertise with Burp Suite and Nessus
- Understanding of network protocols, cyber risks, REST APIs
- Nginx experience with WAF considerations (Akamai or Cloudflare)
- Familiarity with BFSI regulatory frameworks (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, ISO 27001)
- Certifications such as OSCP, RHCE, CCNP, CISSP
- Ability to present findings to technical teams and leadership
- On-call incident response on Linux-based infrastructure
