Job Summary
Senior Information Systems Security Officer needed to lead the development, review, and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs) and authorization packages; conduct security audits and oversee vulnerability management; implement continuous monitoring and security telemetry; ensure compliance with DoD/NIST/FISMA frameworks; coordinate incident response and enforce access controls; provide strategic risk and compliance guidance to system owners and ISSMs, while mentoring junior ISSO staff.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related cybersecurity field
- 10+ years of professional information security or information assurance experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Active Top Secret DoD clearance (with SCI/SAP eligibility) required for this role
- Background Investigation required (federal)
- Experience with RMF, FISMA, and NIST frameworks
