Job Summary
The Senior Information Security Lead at Genesis Capital is responsible for designing, operating, and governing network and information security controls across a hybrid environment including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS. Key responsibilities include managing the vulnerability lifecycle, enforcing information security policies, conducting security risk assessments, and overseeing internal and external SOX audits. The role requires strong technical skills in network security, deep knowledge of relevant regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with executives. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in a regulated environment and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in network security and information security within a regulated or sensitive environment
- Hands‐on experience securing Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and hybrid/on‐prem environments
- Demonstrated experience acting as primary audit contact and control owner for SOX or similar regulatory audits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including audit‐ready documentation and executive briefing
Desired Qualifications
- Strong expertise with firewalls, zero trust, and vulnerability management
- Working knowledge of ISO 27000, SOX, PCI, and GLBA control expectations
- Experience with Juniper and Cisco/Meraki network switches
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent)
