Job Summary
Senior Information Security Engineer opportunity to drive strategy and architect modern defenses across on-prem and cloud environments. Leading complex risk, vulnerability, and purple-team assessments; designing secure network, application, data, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, DevSecOps pipelines); implementing security tooling (EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR) and secure configuration baselines; collaborating with Engineering, Infrastructure, and vendors; leading investigations on the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team; developing security policies, training, and best practices with a focus on zero-trust and security-by-design; documenting network, host, application, and cloud security architectures; advising on vendor risk, cloud security, secure coding, and CI/CD integration. Requires California residency with a 50-mile commute to Santa Ana headquarters; hybrid-eligible with three days on-site. Target annual salary $108,895–$136,000. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Assurance, or related technology field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise information / cyber security and IT risk management
- 3+ years of deep expertise in AWS and Azure security, cloud-native tools, and modern security architectures
- Experience with PCI DSS, FFIEC, CIS / NIST frameworks
- One relevant certification (CISSP, GIAC, Security+, AWS Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, etc.)
- Ability to influence, partner cross-functionally, and operate under urgency with sound judgment
