Senior Information Security Consultant, Offensive Security

Job Summary
Develop attack scenario hypotheses using AI assistance and threat intelligence to test security controls and validate defense effectiveness. Coordinate with security response and intelligence teams to plan and execute red team scenarios from public, internal, and private sources. Refine scenarios continuously to ensure accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with internal and external teams to build supporting infrastructure. Partner with other red teamers to manage the red teaming function from beginning to end and track recommendations for continuous improvement. Publish novel processes and findings for select peers to help partner lines of business achieve real security effectiveness. Work within a hybrid arrangement spending 1-3 days per week on-site at CIBC's Toronto location.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrate experience in driving Red Teaming initiatives
- penetration testing
- network security
- novel use of AI for cyber security
- at least 7 years of overall Cyber Security experience
- 2-4 years of Cyber Threat analysis research experience
- understanding of how to leverage threat analysis for enterprise defense
- familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity
- one of the following OSCP, OSCE and CEH certifications
- at least 7 years of overall Cyber Security experience
- 2-4 years of Cyber Threat analysis research experience
- understanding of how to leverage it for enterprise defense
- familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity
- hold one of the following OSCP, OSCE and CEH certifications
- valid work or study permit
- legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above
