Senior Information and Process Engineer

Job Summary
Assess client knowledge management practices and supporting IT systems to evaluate their effectiveness across the organizational footprint. Identify major repositories and document management systems, then make recommendations to fully utilize the current IT stack for re-engineered processes. Develop requirements and transition plans for technology enhancements while supporting implementation planning through Agile practices and dependency analysis. Coordinate with HHS stakeholders to ensure redesign efforts align with subagency systems and data modernization priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in knowledge management, information systems, digital transformation, or business process engineering
- Demonstrated experience assessing IT systems/knowledge management infrastructure and developing technology recommendations in a federal agency context
- Experience developing system/technology requirements and transition plans
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain public trust
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with HHS or another federal regulatory/health agency
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and/or ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
- Experience with federal knowledge management platforms and document management systems
- Experience supporting IT modernization or data management modernization initiatives
