Job Summary
Senior Informaticist with a strong background in analytics and predictive modeling works across Analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Develops and enhances financial and operational models to guide strategy, evaluates multiple data sources, and applies advanced statistical techniques to improve program quality, performance, and revenue growth. Communicates findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, identifies opportunities for analytics innovation, and exercises autonomy in determining analytical approaches and project components. Remote-friendly role with occasional travel to Humana offices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of analytics experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
- Proven experience in data mining, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision making
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights to senior leadership
- High attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Demonstrated passion for improving consumer/member experiences through data and insights
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology (Preferred Qualifications)
- Advanced forecasting, simulation, optimization, and predictive modeling techniques (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau (Preferred Qualifications)
- Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms (Preferred Qualifications)
