Job Summary
Senior Industrial/Process Engineer responsible for owning manufacturing process performance, driving productivity improvements, optimizing facility layouts and material flow, and leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives in a large-scale manufacturing facility. Focus areas include identifying bottlenecks, reducing cycle times and downtime, improving throughput and labor utilization, implementing standardized processes, and evaluating automation opportunities with ROI justifications. Must possess a Bachelor's in Industrial/Process/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, with hands-on experience on the manufacturing floor and a track record of data-driven process improvements, lean/Six Sigma methods, and capital projects execution. The role requires leadership across engineering teams to raise standards and deliver measurable operational and financial returns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
- Proven experience improving manufacturing processes within a production environment
- Experience optimizing workflows, throughput, and operational efficiency
- Experience designing or improving facility layouts and material flow systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, production systems, and process controls
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering or continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to utilize manufacturing data to drive operational decisions
- Experience developing ROI analyses and business cases for process improvements
- Hands-on manufacturing floor experience
