Job Summary
Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation. Duties include moving, assembling, installing or dismantling equipment; performing preventative maintenance; interpreting schematics/blueprints; troubleshooting downtime causes and proposing improvements; potential welding, fabrication, or calibration; operating forklifts, aerial lifts, or cranes as needed; and assisting with other duties as required. Requires strong math, communication, analytical and organizational skills, and familiarity with OSHA standards; experience with hydraulics and electrical systems and proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision instruments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- An associate degree in maintenance technology, related field, or an Industrial Maintenance Technician certificate is preferred
- 7 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician focusing on hydraulics and electrical systems
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts or cranes is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Good communication and analytical skills
