Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed packaging machinery including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors while performing preventive maintenance and inspections in the CMMS. Assist with facility power tasks such as planning drops, balancing loads, and coordinating with electricians for circuit work. Lead root-cause troubleshooting to document permanent fixes and support equipment installation, relocations, and OEM commissioning. Track power loads and utility capacities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety programs and OSHA standards. Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. Requires 5-6 years in industrial maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics.
Required Qualifications
- 5-6 years in industrial or packaging maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drives
- Comfortable assisting with facility power work including circuits, load identification, and coordination with electricians
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Organized, safety-minded, and dependable with a 'fix it right the first time' mindset
- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working in a production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with PLC-controlled systems (basic diagnostics preferred)
- Experience with Chinese OEM machinery
