Job Summary
Senior Industrial Engineer responsible for leading Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput. Develops and implements process improvements, conducts time studies and labor analyses, designs facility layouts, supports production planning and line balancing, analyzes operational data, and tracks KPIs. Collaborates with production, safety, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to drive cost reductions and ergonomic and risk assessments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and extensive experience in industrial/ manufacturing engineering, with strong experience in Lean, Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Experience executing industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, or related field methodologies in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience conducting labor studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and facility layout design
- Demonstrated experience leading complex process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flows, and technical documentation
