Job Summary
Evaluate and improve semiconductor manufacturing processes by ensuring labor, equipment, and processes are measured, controlled, and operating at optimum capacity. Engage with the development and communication of the capacity statement for production plans and forecasts. Identify operational performance achievements and shortcomings, then collect and analyze data to communicate insights to Engineering and Leadership Teams. Work with natural work groups to improve throughput for critical operations, mitigate constraints, and reduce cycle time variation. Improve scheduling systems to drive down costs and minimize interruptions while increasing throughput. Drive continuous improvement through fab observations to optimize manufacturing layout, logistics, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Experience in lean manufacturing and pull systems
- Good knowledge in capacity, productivity, manufacturing process and product costing
- Effective communicator—both verbally and written skills
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status
Desired Qualifications
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and SQL skills
