Job Summary
Senior Industrial Engineer in Southfield, MI focusing on labor modeling, plant layout, costing, and operational efficiency. Works with Plant Operations, Sales, Program Management, and Finance to optimize manufacturing processes. Uses simulation tools and builds digital twin models to evaluate labor and overhead savings for automation investments. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; AutoCAD for 2D layouts; familiarity with MOST and MaxiMOST labor evaluation techniques; understands financial analysis (IRR, NPV, payback) and cost modeling. Travel up to 30% to plant sites; strong collaboration and communication skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing role at an automation site
