Job Summary
Provide process time estimates to the quote team and simulate manufacturing workflows using REFA, MOST, and WITNESS tools. Coordinate process planning during NPI, review prototyping results, and develop labor utilization standards through work measurement. Analyze operational data to define efficient worker and equipment usage, then recommend methods to reduce waste and improve throughput via Lean, Automation, or Six Sigma projects. Manage systems for cost reviews, financial planning, and production control to ensure product quality and optimize facility layouts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- minimum of 6 years of engineering experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area
