Job Summary

Apply Lean tools and methodologies including value stream mapping, line balancing, and statistical analysis to optimize product and material flow. Manage cross-functional projects focused on problem-solving and operational excellence while leading Kaizen events to enhance quality, cost, delivery, and safety. Lead facility layout and workstation design projects to improve workflow and reduce labor effort, and analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities across the value stream. Develop labor standards for accurate costing and resource planning, then coach Lean principles and deliver training to employees at all levels. Mentor team members and supervise co-ops and interns while staying current on industry best practices through benchmarking and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or engineering degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' of professional experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, process improvement, or related role
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean practices, Systems and Tools
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Must be able to work from our Maple Grove, Minnesota, location
