Job Summary
Senior Industrial Engineer – AI Enablement responsible for enabling production readiness for Micron’s high-volume memory fab in Boise by translating manufacturing changes into clear capacity insights, building scalable planning tools, and delivering data-driven recommendations to senior leaders. Drive equipment availability and utilization to maximize fab capacity; model capacity impacts of new tools, process changes, and roadmap decisions; develop and automate planning models using generative AI tools, Python, SQL, R, Excel, or VBA; build and maintain site capacity and utilization models to optimize deployed capital; communicate recommendations and improvement proposals through dashboards and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field
- Over 2 years of experience in semiconductor capacity planning, business analysis, or process engineering
- Experience with generative AI tools
- Experience analyzing data, forming recommendations, and presenting results clearly
- Ability to work across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
