Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational advice on complex industrial relations and human resources issues while managing casework including performance management, grievance handling, and disciplinary matters. Interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation to guide management actions, and lead negotiations and consultations with unions, employee representatives, and internal stakeholders. Monitor emerging trends and legislative changes to recommend proactive strategies, and develop and deliver training programs to build leadership capability. Work autonomously and collaboratively with key stakeholders to support outstanding service delivery across all areas of the function.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of human resources, employee relations and industrial relations issues
- experience in the interpretation and application of employment/industrial legislation, awards, agreements, policies and procedures
- passion for driving positive employee relations outcomes
