Job Summary
Senior Industrial Electrician responsible for building, installing, and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems, electrical components, hardware, and equipment to support the design and deployment of special-purpose machinery, robotic work cells, and factory-automation projects. Lead medium to large projects, support Group Leader, and mentor apprentices. Perform panel, cell, and system wiring, install conduits and wireways, and coordinate with engineering, project managers, customers, and toolmakers. Use electrical design packages and customer specifications to reference work, perform power-up and testing, and troubleshoot to enable integration. Travel to customer sites as required and act as an ambassador for ATS at the client location, ensuring compliance with CSA, safety, and quality requirements. Adhere to OH&S procedures and PPE requirements and participate in training, tear-down and reassembly for site commissioning, and complete daily site reports.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician, a Construction and Maintenance Electrician or equivalent certifications from other Provinces or Countries.
- Experience: Completion of a Certificate of Apprenticeship and Certificate of Qualification in the above-mentioned trades.
