Senior Industrial Designer

Senior Industrial Designer responsible for leading end-to-end industrial design from concept development to production-ready execution for Helsing's defence technology products. Role entails translating complex technical systems into refined physical products, developing technically informed usability-driven design solutions, defining semantic design languages and graphical applications, producing high-quality 3D models and visualisations, and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and product teams to ensure designs are realizable at scale. Must demonstrate portfolio of shipped physical products, strong 3D modelling/visualisation capabilities with tools such as Alias, SolidWorks, Maya, Fusion 360, Rhino, and comfort working in engineering-driven, multidisciplinary environments. Practices a systems-thinking approach to balance aesthetics, ergonomics, manufacturability and operational performance, contributing to Helsing's cross-domain design identity and product portfolio.
