Job Summary
Senior Industrial Automation Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and deploy large-scale robotic workcell electrical systems. Responsible for electrical system architecture, integration, troubleshooting, power distribution, motor drives, sensor integration, and creating detailed electrical control panel schematics and wiring diagrams. Collaborates with mechanical, software, and controls engineers to integrate electrical systems into complete robotic solutions, conducts design reviews and root-cause investigations, defines electrical specifications for new robotic workcell designs, and supports manufacturing, installation, and commissioning at fulfillment centers. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and performance in high-throughput environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in robotics or automation
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and control systems
- Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 61508, NFPA 79, UL 508A)
