Job Summary
Senior-level disability claims professional at Guardian, remotely oriented with the primary office in Pittsfield, MA, focusing on investigating and resolving complex individual disability claim and policy matters. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years insurance claim handling experience (Individual Disability Claims)
- A college or university degree, or high school diploma with extensive prior relevant work experience
- Demonstrated understanding of claim management techniques and critical thinking requiring analysis and/or investigation
- Experience providing outstanding customer service
- Attention to detail with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing competing priorities with deadlines
- Negotiating skills, solution strategies and ability to apply appropriate resources
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
